The Town of Florence (the “Town”) is issuing this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) to solicit Statements of Qualifications (“SOQ”) from qualified and appropriately licensed firms (“Consultants”) interested in providing On-Call Engineering Services (the “Services”) on an as-needed basis.
The selected Consultant(s) may be requested to provide professional engineering, design, surveying, planning, studies, construction administration, and other related services as further described in the Scope of Work.
The Town is seeking a qualified engineering consultant to provide professional engineering, design, and related services on an as-needed basis. Services may include, but are not limited to, engineering review and design; surveying; reports and studies; master planning; conceptual and preliminary design; preparation of construction documents; permitting; construction administration and observation; and preparation of opinions of probable construction costs and budget estimates.
Services may be requested for individual projects or as part of larger, multi-disciplinary projects. The Consultant may be required to provide or coordinate ancillary services necessary to successfully complete an assigned project.
The Consultant shall be properly registered, licensed, and qualified to perform the requested professional services in the State of Arizona.
Anticipated Services
SOQs must be submitted electronically through the Town’s Procurement Portal, OpenGov, at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/florenceaz/projects/305111. **Late SOQs will not be considered.**
The SOQ shall include a one-page cover letter with an original ink signature or compliant digital signature from a person authorized to bind the Consultant. The SOQ shall include a maximum of twenty-five (25) pages addressing the SOQ evaluation criteria. Resumes for each proposed key team member shall be limited to two (2) pages per person.
All inquiries regarding this RFQ shall be submitted through the Town’s e-procurement Portal, OpenGov, by the deadline specified in this RFQ.
The Selection Committee will identify the three (3) highest-ranked Consultants to participate in oral interviews. The Town may, at its sole discretion, award up to three (3) contracts to qualified Consultants.
Selected Consultants will be required to execute the Town’s standard *Professional Services Agreement* in a form acceptable to the Town Attorney.
