(BID) 27-25, Atlanta Speedway Airport- Design/Build Hangar

The intent of this invitation is to obtain competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors for the design/build of hangar buildings at the Atlanta Speedway Airport, located at 474 Speedway Blvd, Hampton, GA 30228. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to fulfill the terms and conditions of this bid.

Bids will only be considered by those bidders and subcontractors currently active and registered with SAM.gov.

**Electronic bids** are to be submitted through the County's eProcurement Portal at (https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/henryga). Bids may also be submitted by mail, common carrier or delivered in person. Emailed or faxed bids will not be considered.

The following items are to be included if the bid is submitted by mail, common carrier or delivered in person:

• One (1) unbound clearly marked "Original," of the bid documents,
• One (1) bound copy identical to the original bid documents, and
• One (1) digital version in PDF format on a USB flash drive identical to the original bid documents.

The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder(s), if awarded.

All bid pricing must be held up to 120 days from the date of the bid opening.

The Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion and Final Completion not later that the dates shown on the Notice to Proceed. Should the Contractor neglect, fail or refuse to achieve Final Completion of the Work on the project by not later than 12:00 midnight on the date stated in the Notice to Proceed, or as revised by Change Order, he shall pay to the Owner as liquidated damages **$2,000 per calendar day** for each day that he is in default after the stipulated date.

Contract Term – The time period of the agreement, if any is formed from this bid, will be determined after the review and evaluation of the Time Line Schedules submitted by the successful Consultant.
