BL131-26, Ravenwood Drive Water Main Replacement

The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project pursuant to O.C.G.A. §36-91-20:

Ravenwood Drive Water Main Replacement, M00736.75

This Project includes the following Work: Approximately 8,600 LF of 6-inch AC pipe water main replacement with new 8-inch and 12-inch ductile iron pipe and restoration of all disturbed areas to pre-construction conditions, and all other appurtenances as shown on the drawings or specified within the contract documents as required to complete the project. The work is within the Ravenwood neighborhood of Snellville in Gwinnett County, GA.

Approximately 8,600 LF of 6-inch AC pipe water main replacement with new 8-inch and 12-inch ductile iron pipe and restoration of all disturbed areas to pre-construction conditions, and all other appurtenances as shown on the drawings or specified within the contract documents as required to complete the project. [...] Project work also includes pavement repair, mill and overlay and erosion control.

The Project is to be substantially complete and ready for operation within **270 days** after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in the General Conditions. The Project is to be complete and eligible for final payment **300 days** after the date for Substantial Completion.

Delivery of Bids

Sealed Bids must be delivered to Owner as specified in Section 00 21 13 *Instructions to Bidders* no later than **2:50 P.M. on December 9, 2026** to be accepted. The bid opening will be virtual ONLY.

Prequalification

This notice is ONLY for bidders that have already prequalified under the Annual Prequalification of Contractors for Installation, Replacement and/or Relocation of Pressurized Water Mains and Appurtenances, Small Diameter (8” to less than 16”) included in Section 00 21 14 *List of Pre-Qualified Bidders.* **Bids submitted by contractors who have not been prequalified WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.**

Digital copies of the Drawings and Specifications must be obtained from Stratus at the below address for a non-refundable fee of $0. Only complete sets will be issued.
