Project to include improvements to Taylor Park

1. Construction of concrete sidewalks as shown on the attached plan and as described in the above specifications.
2. Removal and disposal of existing concrete basketball court and goals.
3. Removal and replacement of misc items that may be in conflict with sidewalk construction. (ie. Fencing, bleachers, landscaping, etc.)

Lump Sum Bid Price

Payment for the work completed under this Contract will be made at the lump sum bid. The lump sum shall include the furnishing of all labor, tools, equipment and materials and the performance of all work required to complete the project as indicated and specified above.

Contractor to coordinate working hours with City Recreation Department to minimize disruption to the park. [...] ALL P.C. CONCRETE SHALL BE READY-MIXED CONCRETE AND BE BATCHED, MIXED, AND TRANSPORTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM C 94 AND SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM 28 DAY STRENGTH OF 4000 PSI.

REMOVAL WORK INCLUDES DEMOLITION, REMOVAL AND PROPER DISPOSAL OF ALL DEBRIS. CONTRACTOR TO REMOVE ALL CONCRETE PROJECT RELATED DEBRIS FROM SITE AND DISPOSE OF IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL LAWS AND REGULATION.

All bids are to be enclosed in a **sealed envelope** and addressed as follows: City of Bloomingdale 8 West Highway 80 Bloomingdale, Georgia 31302 ATTN: Sealed bid for "Taylor Park Improvements- Phase 1"

Bids received after the time indicated shall be returned unopened.

All bids will be reviewed by City staff and a recommendation will be made to the Mayor and City Council. The bid will be awarded at the City Council Meeting that is scheduled for December 5th at 7:00pm.

The work shall be completed within **60 calendar days** and commence within (10) calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. [...] Failure to complete the work within the number of days stipulated, including any extensions given, shall result in liquidated damages in the amount of **$500 a day**. 10% retainage will be held by the City pending satisfactory completion of the project.

The Contractor that is awarded the project shall secure and maintain such insurance policies as are required.
