2027 Biosoilds Disposal

The City of Joliet, Illinois, does hereby invite sealed bids for 2027 Biosolids Disposal for the Department of Public Utilities (Contract No. 3032-1226).

The City of Joliet reserves the right to reject any and all bids, part of any and all bids, or to waive technical errors or omissions in bids.

Submission

All bids must be submitted online through the Euna Procurement (Bonfire) portal, and must follow the exact order of documents as specified. Failure to comply with this format may result in disqualification of your submission. All bids must be submitted in Euna Procurement (Bonfire) by **10:30 AM local time on Thursday, November 12, 2026**, at which time they will be opened and publicly read aloud in Conference Room #2 City Hall, 150 W Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL 60432.

All questions must be submitted exclusively through Euna Procurement (Bonfire).

Security and insurance

• Bid Security: **10%**
• Performance Security: **100%**
• Prequalification Necessary: NO
• Insurance: YES – the City of Joliet, along with its officers and employees, must be named as additional insured on a primary and non-contributory basis.

Each bidder shall provide bid security in the amount of at least Ten percent (10%) of its base bid. Bid security shall be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond issued by a surety licensed to do business in the State of Illinois. Personal checks and Company checks are not acceptable bid security and may result in the rejection of the bid as non-conforming.

This contract is eligible for the local bidder preference ordinance.
