Scope

Sourcewell is seeking proposals for Firearms and Ammunition with Related Supplies and Services.

This RFP is organized into three (3) response Categories. Proposers must select ONE (1) Primary Category under which to submit a response.

  • Category 1: Firearms Manufacturers with Related Products and Accessories. This category is intended for respondents that manufacture firearms. Respondents may propose their manufactured firearms and related products, as well as ammunition, accessories, complementary products, and other brands they are authorized to distribute or resell.
  • Category 2: Firearms Distributors and Resellers with Related Products and Accessories. This category is intended for respondents that distribute or resell firearms. Respondents may propose firearms and related products, as well as ammunition, accessories, and complementary products.
  • Category 3: Ammunition and Related Products and Accessories. This category is intended for respondents that manufacture, distribute, or resell ammunition and related products and accessories and does not require the respondent to offer firearms.

Proposers may offer firearm trade-in, buyback, resale facilitation, asset disposition, certified destruction, or related replacement program services where permitted by applicable federal, state, and local laws. Proposers should describe their processes, compliance measures, valuation methodologies, and any associated services available to participating entities.

Proposers may include directly related equipment, accessories, and services to the extent that they are complementary to the primary solutions being proposed.

All items proposed must comply with current applicable safety or regulatory standards or codes. Proposed equipment and products must be for new, current model; however, proposer may offer certain close-out equipment or products if it is specifically noted in the Pricing proposal. All equipment, products, supplies, and services must be covered by a warranty that is the industry standard or better.
