The City intends to construct up to 4 solar arrays. A fifth site (South Reservoir) has been included as an optional site in the event one of the other sites is not feasible.

The installation and power generation and transmission equipment shall comply with applicable building, mechanical, fire, seismic, structural, and electrical codes.

  • Modules: Shall be Underwriter Laboratories (UL) 1703 listed and California Energy Commission (CEC) listed.
  • Inverters: Shall be UL1741 listed and CEC-listed with an efficiency of 95% or higher.

Submitted plans must be stamped by a professional electrical engineer.
