Boone Bridge Northbound Joint Replacement

The purpose of this ITB is to establish a contract for Boone Bridge Northbound Joint Replacement (the "Project") for the benefit of the Oregon Department of Transportation ("ODOT") (the "Contract"). The work to be performed under the Contract includes all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, permits, and services for and incidental to the completion of all construction work in connection with the Project in strict accordance with the Contract Documents.

The work, includes, but is not limited to: Construct temporary and permanent bridge joints, premixed polymer concrete overlay, install pavement markings, and perform additional and incidental work as called for in the Specifications and Plans.

The Work to be done under this Contract consists of the following:

1. Construct temporary and permanent bridge joints.
2. Construct premixed polymer concrete overlay.
3. Install pavement markings.
4. Perform additional and Incidental Work as called for by the Specifications and Plans.

The quantities in the bid item list are intended to serve only as a guide to bidders, and are not to be construed as a guarantee. All quantities are estimated, and are for bid purposes only. The quantity for each bid item includes all labor, equipment and materials for all activities associated with this project. The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) reserves the right to adjust quantities and add or delete, as needed.

**Bids must be submitted through the OregonBuys system.** The Bid Package must be submitted via OregonBuys. ODOT will reject submittals by any other means.

Bidder must provide bid security in an amount equal to **10%** of the total amount of the Bid prior to Closing. Bidder's Bid is a firm Bid, irrevocable, valid, and binding on the Bidder for not less than 120 calendar days from the Bid Opening Date.

Bidder must complete and submit *Form A-1*, *Form A-2* and *Form A-4* as described in the ITB. Award will be made to the responsible Bidder submitting the lowest responsive Bid.

The following range is a Project estimate for bonding purposes: **$2,000,000 to $2,500,000**. Agency will withhold retainage from a Contractor's progress payments in the amount of [5%] of the payment.

**Substantial completion:** September 01, 2027. **Final completion:** September 15, 2027.

This ITB and resulting Contract are subject to the Bureau of Labor and Industries ("BOLI") prevailing wage rate requirements.
