Sealed bids are to be submitted online through PennBid. Bidders can submit, update, and withdraw bids until the date and time described in the Advertisement for Bids. All bidders shall submit all executed documents included with the bids in original form to the Owner within 3 business days of the bid opening date.
A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 10 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a certified check or a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions.
Bidder is required to visit the Site and conduct a thorough visual examination of the Site and adjacent areas.
Bidders must submit a Bid on a unit price basis for each item of Work listed in the unit price section of the Bid Form.
All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142).
All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award.
The estimated cost for this project is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply.
