Evans High School Turf Request TC-12-03-26A

Columbia County School District (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Multipurpose Practice Field for Evans High School, Engineer Project No. 26-8172.

A proposed natural turf multipurpose practice field for the Evans High School which includes clearing & grubbing, retaining wall construction, a gravel detention area with underdrains, fencing, sports netting, and landscaping.

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the office of the Columbia County Board of Education, Attn: Mr. Tim Beatty located at 4781 Hereford Farm Road, Evans, Georgia 30809, until **Thursday, December 3, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. local time**.

Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond made payable to the COLUMBIA COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work. Each bond shall be equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Certified checks or letters of credit are not acceptable.

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 35 days after time has been called on the date of the opening of bids.

Contractors shall submit to the Owner the completed *Article 8 - Statement of Bidders Qualifications Form* attached to the Proposal Form at the time of the bid.

A **mandatory** pre-bid conference will be held. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.
