Gloves

The Long Beach Public Utilities Department (LBPUD) is requesting quotations for GLOVES in accordance to the LBPUD needs and/or fund availability.

The gloves are ordered on an as-needed basis for inventory. LBPUD reserves the right to purchase either more or less than the listed quantities provided. LBPUD does not guarantee usage nor guarantee that all items will be ordered/purchased during the term of the contract.

Types of GLOVES shall include, but not limited to, the following:

• Latex Gloves
• Nitrile Gloves
• Cow Grain Leather Gloves
• Dotted Knit Gloves
• PIP Coated Gloves
• Work Gloves

The gloves are ordered on an as-needed basis for inventory. Approximate order frequency and amount is below. Bidders are cautioned not to rely on past usage or previous ordering history for quantities.

Product Sample Submission Requirement

To ensure that all proposed items meet the specifications and quality standards outlined in this solicitation, the Bidder shall provide product samples for evaluation. Bidders must submit one sample of each item proposed, unless otherwise specified.

Awarded Contractor shall deliver products within five (5) business days of the order being placed by LBPUD.

Bids shall be submitted electronically via the City's secure online bidding system, Long Beach Buys portal, available at https://longbeachbuys.buyspeed.com/bso/. Bidders must be registered with Long Beach Buys in order to submit a bid.

**Bids & Samples Due** November 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM. All times are in California local time (Pacific Time).

Samples must be received at the address listed below no later than the bid submission deadline: Long Beach Public Utilities Dept, Water Warehouse, 1841 E. 33rd Street, Long Beach, CA 90807.

The contract shall be for a term of two (2) years.

Quantities will not be considered in making this award. The award will be based on the unit prices, and percentage discounts given; along with meeting the specification requirements stated herein.

Acknowledges that its quote is valid for 90 days and the quote cannot be withdrawn within that time.

Long Beach-based businesses meeting the criteria set forth below may have their bid price reduced by ten percent solely for the purpose of determining the lowest responsible bid.
