Architect - Engineer (A-E) Construction Testing and Inspection Services- Task Order Contract

The County of Orange (County), consisting of 22 agencies and departments, and the Orange County Flood Control District (District) deliver a broad range of services to the residents of Orange County. [...] OC Public Works intends to pre-qualify firms to provide Architect-Engineer (A-E) and A-E related services Countywide and District-wide for various maintenance and capital improvement projects.

Through this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), the County and District will evaluate responding firms based on the qualifications and requirements established in this solicitation and will establish a Qualified Vendor List (QVL) consisting of firms determined to be qualified to perform the applicable A-E disciplines and services.

County and District require professional services to accomplish projects and/or services ("Projects/Services") as described in Contract Scope of Work for Architect-Engineer (A-E) Construction Testing and Inspection Services – Task Order Contract, hereinafter referred to as "Attachment A".

Project/Services to be performed by A-E shall consist of the work as specified herein and as required in Attachment A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

All Projects/Services shall be performed in accordance with instructions, criteria and standards set forth by the Director.

Contracts awarded as a result of this RFQ process shall have a maximum term of three (3) years.

Insurance

• Commercial General Liability: Minimum Limits $1,000,000 per occurrence; $2,000,000 aggregate
• Auto Liability: Minimum Limits: $1,000,000 combined single limit each accident
• Employer's Liability policy with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per accident or disease
• Professional Liability: Minimum Limits $1,000,000 per claims made and $2,000,000 aggregate
• Pollution Liability: Minimum Limits $1,000,000 per occurrence or claims made; $2,000,000 aggregate

From the firms determined to be qualified and placed on the QVL, the County and District intend to select certain firms for initial contract awards, subject to approval by the Orange County Board of Supervisors, as applicable.
